In the applications of copyright protection for vector geographic data using digital watermarking technology, the data splicing attack, because too many data points without watermark, could result in watermark detection difficult. For this issue, the paper proposed a fragile watermarking algorithm by using tamper positioning character of fragile watermarking to assist with robust watermarking algorithm. Then took the combining algorithm to protect the copyright of vector geographic data. The fragile watermarking algorithm which ensured data accuracy was for every single data point at the same time.
