Following Ponseti casting, a new modality has been successfully developed to prevent clubfoot from recurrence in ambulating children. The new modality utilizes a non-traditional approach in the design and construction of customized dynamic pedorthtoses . This approach implements dynamic plantar pressure data, as well as computer aided design (CAD) and finite element analysis (FEA).
